Comedy TV series

Count me in too, I didn’t think to mention any of these because I really didn’t think anyone on here would like them! I still watch the Big Bang Theory repeats too. I don’t know what Carol’s Second Act is tho?

Carol is the actress who played Raymond's wife on ''Everybody Loves Raymond'', ever watch it? Carol was a teacher and after retiring from it decides to become a doctor (second act). She's funny and energetic and just loves being a doctor and gets on everybody's nerves. I like her.

Oh, that sounds good, I liked Everybody Loves Raymond, I’ll have to check it out, thanks!

I just went over the posts again; there are a lot of ones I haven't watched, thanks. I was surprised that no one mentioned "The King of Queens" I've viewed the entire series two times and find it hilarious at times.

As long as the networks insist on canned laughter the prospect of American Comedies remain dismal.
Also, the premise of the comedies are thin, very thin.
What-watch a program which primarily consist of critical comments about the other cast member is funny-come on, it's drivel.
Watching a tv program that runs 30 minutes is a downer. Six minutes of commercials in 30 minutes appears watching such
a program appears a waste of time.

Last Man Standing~Tim Allen shines in this long running series. Can be found in reruns.
Mike & Molly~cancelled because Melissa McCarthy lost too much weight, but can be found in reruns.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel can be found on Firestick. You need to start with season 1 to understand the plot line. Not for family viewing.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
It's rather weird, yet I watched the 1st 2 seasons and started the third. I don't know why....

I do love Tony Shalhoub though, (her father). I can't stand that manager of hers.....maybe that what brings the show down for me.

It's on Amazon Prime.

My favorites from back in the day were Bewitched, Barney Miller and WKRP in Cincinnati. Fast forward, my favorite comedy was Living Single. I also regularly watched Dharma & Greg, The Cosby Show and it's spin off A Different World. More recently, after not watching comedies in a very long time I found I liked the risque 2 Broke Girls and Mom. Don't watch either regularly but get chuckles whenever I do.

Diva:
I think it is the cast members that make the shows: Barney Miller, WKRP and Mary Tyler More, all had terrific cast members.
Loved Bailey and the bumbling boss, terrified of him mommy on WKRP.
I avoid situational comedies, but the above were exceptional.

2 Broke Girls, don't care for shows solely based on titillation
