Common Popular Foods You Detest?

I don't detest carrot juice, in fact I enjoy the taste.

But 5 min after I drink it, I throw up. I eat cooked carrots, and will often have a few raw carrot sticks with a dip of some sort. But a glass of carrot juice just doesn't agree with me somehow. It's happened three times - last time with a very good quality organic brand - so I leave it alone now. Quite odd!

Oysters .. no, thank you!
Sardines .. double no, thank you!
I used to love oysters when I lived just outside New Orleans back in the early 80's. Friend and I used to go to Houlihans on Bourbon Street for happy hour. We would order 2 doz. on the half shell at 10 cents an oyster. Top with Tabasco and washed down with a frosted mug of local beer. However, since the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the gulf, I have sworn them off.

I love skinless and boneless sardines from Costco. They make great sandwiches with slices of avocado between two toasted slices of Dave's Killer Bread.

ETA: Pork belly seems to be popular in many countries. I have no interest in sampling it.

I not into eggs but have enjoyed a veggie omelette or scramble eggs occasionally. Never could stomach sunny side up because they are runny and uncooked.
I always ordered any egg over hard. Now I can‘t even look at them because they’re bright yellow. Eggs are very popular as a topper on many items, things like burgers, etc.

Another thing I won’t eat is dill pickle or ketchup potato chips. These are really popular flavours here.
