Ironic that in view of all the protests now no one other then Chinese nationals were near the building as the Chinese loaded up their trucks with things we are not allowed to see. I guess the most brutal anti-human country in the world is OK by our protestors and anarchists.
 

What were they putting on their trucks that we aren’t allow to see and why do we want to see it?
 
Chinese Consulate ordered to close in Houston... spying charges, with concerns about them tampering into medical research over Covid-19 among the many allegations.

So 'a tit for a tat' .... US is now ordered to get out of China.

I’m wondering if it might have been more useful just to spy on THEM rather that close them, and see exactly what they were doing, so as to gain from that knowledge or combat them . We many have cut ourselves off from a gateway. And of course in retaliation they are kicking us out, cutting off that source of info for us.
 
I have no idea why you think protesters should be in action against the Chinese consulate closing. The Chinese could care less; they know perfectly well it's what governments do, or do not do, that matters - not the average citizen on the streets.

You could have 10,000,000 Americans marching in support of the Uygurs but it would have absolutely no effect on what Xi's government is doing to destroy one of the richest ethnic cultures in China. Our president doesn't care so neither will China.
 
Convenient that this should be brought to a head just in time to "posture" for the elections.

Could be a coincidence, I'm sure, but it'll give (some) of us another bright object to get our attention away from the Covid mess that we've fumbled our way into.
