Computers with the wrong info about you.

Years ago, somebody, in some office, clicked on the box, which said I had high blood pressure. I don't have it. My insurance co. sends me "helpful reminders" to get my high blood pressure checked. So does my pharmacy. I haven't been taking my high BP meds. I've given up trying to delete it, because somewhere a computer puts it back on. Now, something just happened, when wrong computer info caused a long needless delay in getting my supplies.
Our lives are being computerized. I'm OK with that. But you don't have any recourse if the info is inaccurate. What if I were in a bad car accident, and the E. R. Doc reads that I won't take my high BP meds.

Yes, I get that same notice pretty often. It contains a list of my real medical issues, but adds a few ailments that I have never had! It shouldn't have to be up to me to go through that lengthy list and remove the errors.
