Costco Products

Great find, Costco's Kirkland products are usually of good quality.

I only shop @ stores that I don't have to pay to get in.
I don't pay either Falcon but once in awhile I get a coupon for a free month or two. They don't have the selection other stores have and the packages could feed an army. I did find a great buy on grated cheese which I froze in smaller packages as well as dried cranberries we use in our salads.

The cooking spray is great, as are their wines. Been a member for years. Yesterday was a great example of one of the benefits, despite have to pay an annual fee. My wife needed new glasses. She had already ordered the new lenses from LensCrafters. Cost was about $475. At Costco, the same lenses would have been about 1/3 the cost! Too late to cancel the LensCrafters order, but a good lesson learned. She got prescription sun glasses instead for a very good price.

My most frequent purchases are chicken, fish, berries, Camperi tomatoes and staples such as paper goods and vitamins. While you pay a fee, (I'm an Executive member), you get back quite a bit if you shop regularly. They also have a great Citibank Visa with no annual fee and cash back. Great deal.

I think we posted at the same time, Bob.......yes I researched before buying the hearing aids and saved a lot, besides that they will repair for free and the hearing aid batteries cost 1/2
what other places charge.

We've been shopping at Costco for years, always buy the Kirkland Chicken and Veg. dry dog food, chicken jerky for dog made in USA and their olive oils. We buy a lot of stuff there that isn't the Kirkland brand also, like coffee beans, Gouda cheese, other cheeses, Smoked Salmon, croissants, coffee creamer, almonds, Aussie Bites, crab cakes, beef lasagna, tuna, sardines, boneless rib eye steaks, St. Louis ribs, etc., etc. We have a freezer and a vacuum packer, so even though it's just the two of us, we can store the rest until we're ready to use it.

At my Costco, they've started selling a new whole bean coffee from Vermont Coffee Company. Organic dark roast. Outstanding! Also, something I stumbled across recently, Teton Waters Ranch beef sausages. OMG they are good. https://www.tetonwatersranch.com/product/uncured-beef-thuringer/

No Costco close to me but my sister has me on her Sams membership which costs her 10.00 a year for me. They buy in bulk as they live in a rural area and don't have
any regular grocery stores near them. I have a Sam's Mastecard and just got a rewards check for 15.00 I need to spend there by the end of the month. So there is one 2 miles from me so I will be going there this week.

Went into our Costco a couple weeks back to have a look see. We already belong to Sam's and our membership was about to run out. Nice stuff, but in the end decided to stay with Sam's. Slightly less member cost, and I like their brand, Member's Mart. Plus, some seasonings and spices we find only at Sam's were not available at Costco. That is a small thing, but over all, we are not unhappy there

I live 2 hours drive from our Costco which was the first Costco in Australia at the time of opening just over two, years ago .

We joined on opening and have more than saved our membership price which is $60 in Aust ...for a start their petrol is always 20 cents a ltr cheaper than other outlets , when we needed a battery for My and the daughters cars both were $100 cheaper than we could get anywhere else ( we shopped around ) they each come with a 3 year warranty ..

Their meats are really nice as well partically their beef ..we buy fresh cake and bakery goods that are baked on the premises

Last time I shopped there I bought a 1 kg box of lettuce leaves ...in the other supermarkets a tiny lettuce costs around $3 each and we only get one salad meal from them ..it's $9 for a whole kg of lettuce leaves ..so it makes sense to,me to get the big pack from them ,what I don't use I freeze to make green smoothies

I like their coffee, steak, salmon, and especially their grapefruit, which is definitely the best in town! In the fall and winter, they have delicious frozen tempura shrimp.

Tried this soup and bought it for the second time now, we both like it better than any other store bought tomato bisque.

Ive tried that at my daughter's house...it's very good. I don't have a Costco membership anymore but I do like Trader Joe's roasted pepper and tomato soup, it's pretty good and now you've given me the idea to add a little fresh basil to it....thanks. :)

I made a "pilgrimage" several years ago to the original Costco in Kirkland, Washington (hence the "Kirkland" brand). I was used to the huge stores and that was a relatively tiny, dinky little one. I don't know if they've built a bigger one there since then. Tiny parking lot that you had to circle and circle and circle until someone pulled out.
