Puts me in mind of that famous "I Love Lucy" episode where she and Ethel worked on an assembly line in a chocolate candy factory...

I really like Dohanos' Post illustrations. But my favorite was N. Rockwell.

For our April 1956 cover, Allen C. Reed photographed a herd of goats at the Navajo Nation's Monument Valley.

Several years ago I had in irresistible urge to travel to Monument Valley. I was familiar with it only from 1950s westerns, but I had to see it. We went out there and it was as impressive as I'd hoped. Unfortunately the September weather gave us spitting rain and cool temps, but the next morning we drove up near the Utah line to look back down Highway 163 at the buttes and mesas from the north, which is an instantly recognizable picture:
