Oh yes, Tony, apple chunks, absolutely.Man, that looks good but I don't care for cranberries. Do you think dates would work?...nah, probably too sweet. Apple chunks, maybe?
The last salad I made with cranberries, they were too tough. The next time I use them I’m going to use the trick I use with raisins. Soak them in boiling water for 5 minutes and drain. (Don’t boil them, just be sure the water is really, really hot.)that looks good but I don't care for cranberries
An overnight soak in a sweet liqueur would probly work, too.The last salad I made with cranberries, they were too tough. The next time I use them I’m going to use the trick I use with raisins.
