These are issues of the day , and we are blocked from discussing them. It is beginning to look as though the admins are all so liberal, they cannot stand the idea that another view may be made known, due to the discussion

Or It could be the opposite - admins are so conservative they cannot stand other liberal points of view being known

Or it could be they have seen how political discussions go and decided it was better to ban them.
Been that way since at least beginning of this year, when I first joined - so not likely to change now.

Not sure point of yet another thread about it.

Some of the blocked threads were quite interesting to me. I would think that a respectful discussion on tough topics could occur. Perhaps just blocking the offensive replies rather than the entire thread. Just my thought and I didn't establish the forum nor do I administer its rules.

You volunteering? Because I'm sure it's already a hecka huge job to run this place... but having to read every single post to weed out and delete the offensive ones? Near impossible, I'd guess.

Matrix has explained that he has a career elsewhere. He doesn’t need or have the time for disputes here. He made the rules and expects us to follow them.

That wasn't always the case though, was it? Remember disagreeing yet being able to just see it as one part of a person, not the whole entire person. Things moved along to other things.

When you set up the forum was there a feature where you could add tags, in order to be more visible on google search? Makes a huge difference in your traffic.

Thanks for the suggestion. No, I never noticed any tagging section in the administration section and I have been visiting in that section for last ten years. Also, traffic has increased to 5000 per day and there is still zero participation except for one member who just posted a video. Why? Beats me. The subjects are very diverse and yet not a peep! Some read an article and click the like icon on Twitter where I posted a link to it. But they vehemently refuse to click the like-icon on my forum or respond at the forum in any way. Others who become members, except for Webster who just recently returned after approx. three year's absence, are as silent as death. So why they join is a mystery. LOL!

The vast majority are web crawlers. I found that out when I started investigating their addresses. BTW What is the reason why you choose not to post ?

Me? I just took a glance out of my interest in forums, having admin'd a couple myself.
