I saw them three times. Now that Charlie is gone, it would not be the same. I will pass in future.

I couldn't have said it better. I feel exactly the same.Meh, I've seen everybody I want to see. Tickets are far too expensive, and I have no desire to be around a bunch of people.
Concerts were fun when I was young, and part of that was being part of the party going on. I don't even drink any more. I'd rather watch a video of a concert than go in person. The exception might be for a good jazz band or maybe some blues where you get to see some really good musicians.
When I play "old music" for young folks, they're always blown away over how good it is. They all say their music sucks compared to bands like AC/DC, Metallica, Pink Floyd, etc. There needs to be a forced retirement law for these millionaires.
The young are better and interesting. I listen to old rock on the FM lots. The youth do them better.
We have major weekend bands here all summer long. the youth are really good. The old suc.
I feel the same way. When I was younger I saw hundreds of bands. Back then I drank, smoked pot and was not as anti people as i am now. Now I’d rather just watch a show on tv. Like Hogan here, a good jazz band would be the exception. A few years ago I saw this band in person which was amazing. He’s a famous saxophone player.Meh, I've seen everybody I want to see. I wouldn't go to a concert for free. I saw great stars in the 60s and 70s. Don't need to see "stars" with torn clothes, loud guitars and drums and a bunch of screaming crazy drunks in the audience! I saw the real Johnny Cash, Hank Snow, Bill Monroe, etc. You can keep your modern "stars."Meh, I've seen everybody I want to see. If the youth could have the same they are going to be better quickly. The problem is B.S. Radio and entertainment playing the old stuff for free. I will bet my monwy on the youth developing and beign great. Nothing wrong with them playing the old stuff. FM plays it all the time, and claim the right toObviously some posting negatively herein haven't much recent live music experience or live in small cities or rural areas. Nor appreciate how much better speaker systems are at modern venues in this era especially in large venues and outdoors. Even electronically amplified mic'd acoustic instrument groups sound much more impressive than in the past.
I was just thinking about Wishbone Ash. They weren't that well known at the time, but I saw them one night out in a baseball field, and I remember them as being--and it was pouring down rain--about the best rock concert I had ever been to. The crowd was soaked but energized. It was an actual blast. Many of the 'old' bands play in the 'Lemon Tree' theatre in Aberdeen on Sunday evenings. I'd love to see 'Wishbone ash' who play there quite often, but concerts start at 7 pm it's an 80 mile round trip for me.
