Cursing parrots removed from a zoo in England

I read that too, and got a kick out of it. Do the parrots do it for fun amongst themselves (i.e. when parrots are together, do they talk or is just with the swear words) or do they enjoy the reactions of humans, since they likely don't understand what they are saying?

Surprisingly swearing birds is a minor problem. Some people think it's cute to teach the birds to swear. The birds don't have any idea of what they are saying, just mimicking humans. But birds live a long, long time, and usually outlive their owners. Swearing birds don't get adopted, and they are put down. My brother had a parrot. He told me about the problem of swearing. Btw, my brother has passed away, his bird still lives.
