Daily regimen to strengthen mind and body

Hi All,

This is my 1st post looking for an online community that I can learn from and hopefully contribute to in the area of health and fitness as we grow older. I am 2 months away from my 63rd birthday, always have been active playing teams sports since I was a kid but I don't like what this aging thing is doing to my body. I started changing things up to hopefully help keep the body and mind strong. Love to hear what is working for you and if I can add to the conversation.
 

63 is young to feel old
I am 76 and currently imprisoned in a rehab and nursing facility after being three weeks incarcerated in a hospital. I’m not allowed to walk but screw that as the alternative is to wallow in a poop laden diaper begging to be changed like an infant. So by sheer willpower I am on the foot I’ve been ordered to be off of. Am in great hurry to be home where I am the boss of me. Independence is everything and worth fighting for.
