Thanks, PeppermintPatty! Door County is the peninsula in Northeast Wisconsin that sticks out into Lake Michigan. It's known for cherry orchards, lighthouses and ship building. The nearest city is Green Bay.

Welcome! I was born in Wisconsin but have lived most of my life here in California. I fondly remember trips back to Rhinelander to visit my grandparents and other family members.
