It's just as bad for the poor girls who have to go through the same rituals. Even here in Australia some girls have been brutalised and have suffered terribly when their mothers have had their girls circumcised. It is totally illegal here, but some girls have been known to be sent back to the country of their birth to be done.

The same in other Western countries. If gynecologists refuse to do circumcision in girls because it is illegal, they are brought to their home countries.

This practice is brutal and abhorant, and those that carry out this proceure on young children should be hung, drawn and quartered.
