Davey Do's Art Room

Oh, but thank you for your interest and kind words, Alizerine!

Concerning the next animation: It would seem that the vast majority of people are Extroverts who believe that Introverts merely need to be shown the Error of Their Ways, something that I've had to deal with my entire life. It's as if they say, "We are like this, and you should be too!"

No. I do not NEED people, kids, social situations, meaningless chatter, noise, parties, or what have you. I have buddies who like to go to a Local Watering Hole, drink beer, and talk to great extent about what interests them like their families, their politics, etc. etc. Where I can spend endless hours by myself in my Art Room or at the Library and I've always been this way! I can be charming & social but prefer not to have to be so.

As a baby, when my parents worked on a house that we were going to move into, Mom said, on numerous occasions, "We could just put you in a cardboard box (I assumed with an open top) and you would be happy as a Lark". Yes! I am self-entertaining and manifested that personality trait even way back then!

Anyway- this animation, and others being considered, are slated toward me being an Eternal Introvert:

The extroverts make a lot of noise but you quietly share so much more of yourself!

When I was in my mid-twenties, in the early/mid 1980's, I lived in town and would often play in the street with the neighborhood kids who I got to know. On one occasion, there was a little boy who I had not met, and therefore, did not know his name. When I asked him, he replied, "Davey". I said that's my name, too!" and the asked him his last name. "Do", he replied. I excitedly said, "That's my last name too!" He made a face at me and said, "It is not!" I showed him my driver's license to prove it.

It turned out, little Davey Do was the son of one of my Dad's Uncle's son's. (Does that, like, make him a second or third cousin?) I later got to visit with my Dad's cousin and got to know him a bit.

There is a "Twilight Zone" episode where a man got to go back in time while visiting his hometown and meet his former self, which inspired this animation:

@Davey Do
my wobbly hand little scribble's are wondering if they could pop in sometime
they are so gasping for some colour and action

EXCELLENT illustration, Mizmo! Thank you for your expression, and the request to play with your work! I'm always ready to do any art project for any reason!

Adding color to an image saved in JPEG is lengthy and laborious, and the original image would be distorted. In order to add color, it is faster and easier to save in PNG. However, Senior Forums will not allow PNG images downloaded in that format.

But I am attracted to black & white images as much as color, so....

@Davey Do

Hahaha..he is a smart one with that deflation gig. He will get the villains for sure.
Wish I could download them as gifs but it just won't happen.

The room is really busy these days...keep em coming(y)

Mizmo, if you can make images, which you can, change each image just a bit, download & upload, again which you can, you can make GIFs.

Start out with something simple, like a circle or a ball, place it in different areas on the page and file each page, then download each page to imgflip.com and they will make the animation for you, free of charge. It's a learning process, but I sense you have the intellect & talent to do so. If you have any questions or hit a snag, I will be happy in assisting you.

Thank you for your involvement and support, Mizmo

Oh all my little doodles are unplanned. I have nerve damage plus a missing thumb on right hand so I coiud never plan to make anything like a gif. When I start doodling with the pen in my Paintbrush app I just let it happen. Just passing time. Lots of them in my files.
I did love art at school but never had the opportunity to pursue it. I just thought I could download yours but while it says mizmo.gif there is nothing there. when I do.
That is okay. I will just keep visiting Davy Do's Art Room.👏

Your artistic expressions sound so therapeutic, Mizmo! From your coping with disabilities to your unplanned executions!

Please. Keep on as before, expressing yourself spontaneously. Allow those Right Brain juices to flow.

Let's collaborate again! That was an enjoyable experience.

And, please do keep coming back.

@Davey Do
This is one I did a few months ago.The phantom thumb was doing everything to hurt and annoy me so I started doodling.
You can see from the bits and pieces and expressions when I was most annoyed or hurt....:LOL::LOL:
I will delete this after you have had a look

Thank you for sharing some art with me which was born of pain, @Mizmo.

Art is a very good analgesic, antidepressant, and anxiety, which can buoy us through even the roughest of waters.

You are invited and encouraged to share your art, thoughts, and feelings anytime in the Art Room.

The very best to you.

Profound statement in which I can identify, @Mizmo. Often no specific inspired project comes to me, so the media is merely manipulated spontaneously, whether it be two or three dimensional, and an idea will result during the process.

Loose association is my stock-in-trade in that a rudimentary manipulation is made which sparks a thought, and the result is a domino process, one thought knocking over another in a chain of events.

As previously stated, your art is therapeutic for you- as most art to artists is- and you are heavily encouraged to follow that bliss and possibly consider sharing it.

Whether you do or not, your presence is always welcomed in...

...The Art Room Zone.
