I've never been in favour of daylight savings. Dump it - I say.
I’ve gradually expanded that to include the replacement of all batteries twice a year.About the only "positive" that I see to changing the time is it reminds me to check the batteries in our smoke detectors/alarms, twice a year.
dumping the changing of the clocks wouldn't affect our "summer time". if you live directly on the equator, you have the same amount of daylight and night every day. if you live say about halfway between the equator and either pole, your days will increase/decrease as earth revolves around the sun.I want to dump changing times twice a year, but I'd keep Daylight Saving Time- our "summer" time, all year long.
It takes me a week to adjust to the time changes. It messes up sleep.
