Daylight Saving tonight OZ.

I knew Di but i can't change mine as i can't climb on the step stool to change two of them due to the dizzies, i shall just ignore them, i lurv daylight saving.
That extra hour of sun on the curtains is a bugger but

I've got that big one on my kitchen wall that will have to wait too, can't lift anything up high yet. Bummer gettin' on innit?

Ours isn't until next month, November 3rd. Don't have any big clocks I have to climb up to to change. I always change them the night before, so I don't have to think about it anymore.

Daylight Saving has always bugged me. If we want more sunlight in the evening why not just start the day an hour later rather than mess with the clocks. Oh well, it's all relative . . . I guess...

Got up early today and when it was time to go to bed the ABC started screening The Magnificent Seven so I had to stay up and watch it, totally uninterrupted by advertising. I just love this movie although by now I only watch it for the actors and the scenery. It's now about 2.30am here and I'm wide awake.

You missed the best bit when all the characters are introduced.
I love watching Brynner, Bronson, McQueen and Coburn.
I think it's the way they move. They are very compelling.

Yeah, didn't know it was on until I came across it 'surfing' the channels, I've seen it at least 10 times anyway. I shouldn't watch it, I keep remembering only old Eli is the only one still ticking. :(

I had Gone with the Wind going yesterday, nothing else on and was 'multi-tasking' so not really watching it, but honestly... what did people see in that movie? I read the book in my youth and thought that was lame and didn't see the movie until about 25 years ago and it was no better. I wanted to punch Scarlett out and 'Melly' made me puke, nobody sane is that 'nice'. But as you mentioned, I'm a tough audience.

GWTW leave me cold too.
We got it out one New Years Eve and I wondered what all the fuss was about.
I'd rather watch Macbeth with Orson Wells. or anything else for that matter.

We'll have to stop agreeing like this Warri, people will worry.

This isn't an unusual time for me to be still conscious but not like you. Get off to bed!
My dog keeps giving me black looks, I think she'd like some peace and quiet so I'm off.

3.24am so Ni Ni all. :eek:fftobed:

I am holding on to our Daylight Savings Time with all I have. I already hate saying goodbye to summer as it is and especially knowing it won't be long before it's totally dark at 5:30 pm!:crushed::crushed::crushed:

I liked it back when I was on night shift because I could still make it home before sunup. (Vampire syndrome is rampant among night shifters) There was something just wrong about heading home when the sun's already up somehow.

I like it now because I can go shopping late in the day when the kids and crowds are home eating dinner, and not worry about night driving because my eyesight ain't what it was.

Other than that? I agree, it's a PITA!

I can't imagine anyone enjoying it overall...and like you, Di, night driving seriously concerns me. I will be doing that far too often just getting home from work. I probably need to get my priorities straight and quit postponing the cataract surgery, as I understand night driving will be far easier afterward.
