Daylight Savings ends this weekend

Here we go again,Saturday night most of us have to switched the clocks back 1 hour before we go to bed as Daylight Savings Time ends.
I really wish we didn't have to do this twice/yr,just keep it as is,whats the big deal in changing the time? Sue

We had ours Last weekend..... now it gets dark at 5pm

We have to 'fall back' this Saturday night, November 4th. It's a big nuisance and for no good reason that anyone knows of.
I would like t stay on standard time and forget daylight saving time.

I think the official reason for changing back and forth is for the safety of kids waiting for school buses in the morning. On daylight savings time, it is often pitch dark when the little ones are heading to school.

Why don't we set our clocks back this weekend only 1/2 hour and be done with it. For 7-8 moths will save the planet by a little. and the rest of the year we will kill the planet by a little. But then we will never know when to change the batteries in our stuff.

You're lucky. I wish we could keep DST year round. When we fall back it's so cold in the mornings. I can't jumpstart myself. :sentimental:

I hate the switcharoo ..... when I Had dogs, they got confused on when supper time was !
