I hate the time changes. But this one isn't as bad as the one where they steal an hour from you.

I see some states are trying to make Daylight savings time permanent. I don't like that either.

We should do away with the whole mess and go by regular time, the way the God that I don't believe in intended us to do.

And by the way, what's with calling it daylight "savings" time?

You don't "save" any daylight with it.

The Sun doesn't give a damn what your clock says. It comes up and goes down the same way it always does.

I don't mind the changes, to me is just a confirmation of winter and I love the four seasons. Plus, like Trade said, we get the extra hour.

Damn !....again we agree.

Only change for me is that the football games start at 11 am now instead of 10 am.

That's a funny and interesting different perspective, for me, thanks for that. (y)

So you don't change your clocks, but you change what you do, and when you do things? ;)

No time change, but your habits, routines, activities are adjusted, instead of your mind and body.:rolleyes::)

It gets dark at 5:00 every day from tomorrow on!

I agree. It does that here, too. And progressively earlier each day, noticeably every week, darker earlier and earlier, which I do not enjoy myself, either,

and in addition, I don't think it's safe for many other people who are out, driving from work/doing errands/picking up young ones from daycare/walking/teens going home from school activities/etc.

Do they do this in Canada, @Keesha ?

I think that the worst part of time changes is having to change digital clocks. Yes, some are easy, but for digital wristwatches it can be an aggravating matter of knowing which button to push in what sequence, no small matter if you've lost your manual...and to change the clock in my car, I must successfully navigate several different menus on a dashboard screen. And of course, with even a momentary power fluctuation, the digital clocks on my stove and microwave flash maddeningly...aargh!
