Death. A question for you.

This isn''t meant to be weird or creepy in any way but when you envisage death, dying, your final illness/moments, how do you see yourself dying? Will you fade away bit by bit over a period of years? Will you be dying peacefully in a hospital with family all around you? Will you die hard and fast? The victim of an accident or adventure? Will you live to be very old and revered by those who know you after a lifetime of service to your community? I think we have some idea of our personalities and inclinations. So we will know if we are fighters or not.

I believe I will either die hard and very slow. By inches if life gets harder and my spirit gives it up. So I will die of despair or I will go down swinging and die hard and fast in a hurricane, an avalanche, or (my favorite) a yachting accident.

How do you see it for yourself? Will you be sick for years or die suddenly.

How can anyone possibly predict? With a crystal ball? I'd like to die in my sleep, dreaming of my husband.
I'm not asking anyone to predict because that would be impossible. But we know our personalities. We know if we are fighters or not and we also know if we are worn out by life. So I'm asking people how they envisage their death in the future and that could be anything because we all have imaginations.

At age 20 was as close to being dead as possible.

Am aware of endless ways death could occur tomorrow or in decades. But other than avoiding whatever, don't tend to mull over death in ways you mention. Freeway vehicle accidents are the most regular threats so I tend to drive carefully. My skiing and backpacking activities have plenty of dangers, however I enjoy such wisely with little gambling. For instance, ski for visceral pleasures without skiing fast, though could. The usual list of sudden unexpected medical issues is most likely. Relatives have died of brain strokes so I try to mitigate its factors. For instance I tend to sleep with my head in elevated positions.

Interesting question...for me, I would want to die/ pass peacefully....but: if it was a choice between being sick for years I'd rather pass quicky not sure how exactly on my end :) we all will eventually. I have been aware of the afterlife since a young age. Hugs to everybody! When it's your time, it's your time to pass. May as well make it adventurous.

I haven't spent much time pondering how death will come, and I don't really have any preference, as I don't have any control over that, unless it be self-inflicted...but I guarantee that's not happening. I expect that death will come in a manner most least expected.

I don’t give it much thought. In fact, I thought about it more when I was younger. I guess I am a bit messed up. For most people, it’s the other way around.

WHOA, tough question!

Well, I would think that most would want it to be quick and relatively painless. I for one am doing all I can to make the end as hard and fast when it comes. I do not want any illness or dis ease or anything like that where you suffer in your final years/months or days.

We do our best...exercise 6 days a week, eat 100 percent organic and very strict diet, take our vitamins and do what is in our hands to maintain a good life. We read philosophy, science and other mind thought provoking books to maintain our mental state (and sanity-(not sure its working)), travel a lot for more excitement and experiences, and try to enjoy our life as much as possible. We do our part as best we can, its the other side of the fence that we can not control.

It's the world, politics, news, corruption, lies, deceit, and all the other cow pies that make living tough!

Either way, no matter in 10, or 50 years...I would like a massive aneurysm one day where I don't even know it happened! Lol!
