Debbie Reynolds rushed to hospital. possible stroke

Debbie Reynolds just suffered a medical emergency, which we’re told is a possible stroke. … and EMTs just raced to the scene … TMZ has learned.
Debbie was at her son Todd Fisher’s home in Beverly Hills and just after 1 p.m. someone from the house called 911 … TMZ has learned.
We’re told 84-year-old Debbie, who’s daughter Carrie died Tuesday, has been distraught since Carrie’s emergency Friday on a United jet.
Family sources tell us they called 911 to report a possible stroke. The ambulance just took Debbie to a nearby emergency room.

How sad, but at 84 not something all that unusual to have happened.

I have long been in awe of Debbie Reynolds, the consummate show business trouper.
Life through her some curve balls but she always seemed to carry on with determination.
 
It has now been announced the Debbie Reynolds has died. While it greatly saddens me, I understand. We are not meant to outlive our children, no matter if our child is 6 weeks or 60 years. And at her age, the blow was too much to bear
 
I just heard that on the news incredibly sad RIP mother and daughter.
 
I met Ms. Reynolds several years ago when she flew on my flight from New York to LA. When she came on-board, I introduced myself to her and called her Ms. Reynolds. She said, "Oh please, call me Debbie." After that first meeting, I had the privilege of flying her a number of times. Each time, I made sure that I was at the door to greet her as she entered the first class cabin. Heck, on one flight, the passengers were even entertained by her when she sang a few bars of "Tammy." She surely loved each one of her fans.

Lovely story Oldman. My favourite movie of hers was The Gazebo with Glenn Ford. Very funny.

20/20 did a show on Debbie and Carrie on Friday evening. They interviewed Todd Fisher, Debbie's son, Carrie's brother. How sad he must be. One thing he talked about was when they were together, day after Carrie died. Debbie was sitting there and the last thing she said to him was "I want to be with Carrie". Then her eyes closed and it was obvious she was "leaving". I guess many years ago she said to him she could never attend Carrie's funeral. He said he did not feel she died of a broken heart, she just needed to be wit Carrie. How sad.
