As I sat on the verandah today drinking coffee and devouring toast my mind started wandering. For some unknown reason I thought about some of my favourite actors - so I checked the net and found to my horror that I'd forgotten that Robert R and Barbara S had both died I sat there tearing up with a lump in my throat and thought most of 'my favourite ones' must have gone by now?? - salutary indeed

It's normal to forget some things that don't have a direct affect on us. Plus there is so much to keep track of. I was just thinking yesterday about a celebrity and couldn't remember if that person is still alive. I can't even remember who it was now...this brain of mine processes so much each day. 
Some of my favorites in music have gone and thinking of them sometimes makes me very sad.
