Did the President just tell the willfully unvaccinated "You're on your own"?

I listened to the President's Covid speech a few days ago. While I am not a big fan of his, I think he made some good points.
  • We have the tools to manage Covid and limit serious illness and death - vaccination, masks, limiting social contacts as each person sees fit.
  • Use all the tools.
  • There won't be another shutdown. Having the tools to manage Covid means that the consequences of a shutdown are now surely worse than the disease.

Reading between the lines I see this : People who could get vaccinated but willfully decide not to get vaccinated for whatever reason are on their own. Don't expect the rest of us to restrict our lives or ruin our economic well being, if you get sick and regret your decision. Your choice. Good Luck.

Don't know if that's what he meant, but sooner or later, it will definitely come to that. The anti-vaxxers will not be able to shut the world down forever.

I think most Americans have had it with the anti-vax crowd. They don't want to be vaccinated. It's fine. If they avoid serious Covid, Great! If they get serious Covid, it's on them.

My sentiments entirely, they are causing nothing but disruption, as if there isn't enough. Let us get on with our lives, you selfish individuals.
