Did you or would you have cosmetic surgery, because of your age?

It wouldn't help me. I'm a typical geezer, 71, bent over, white hair with a cane. But if there was a procedure that got rid of the "geezer" image, I'd have to think about it.

No.I think a wrinkled face is quite all right. If my looks affected people adversely, I'd become more of a loner than I am now.

If you can afford it, and if something that really bothers you can be "fixed", then why not?

I agree with this. It just makes sense. I've never had age related cosmetic surgery, but I use tons of products to smooth, perfect, tighten, brighten, whiten, thicken, my skin, hair, teeth. I'm still a youngish senior, so I may change my mind as I get older.

I got to meet Debbie Reynolds at the end of her career. On stage, she looked just like the star we all knew. But in person, she had tattooed eyebrows ( Most of the female stars did at that time). And all over her face, neck, shoulders were little 1 inch squares, where she had work done.

Oh yea, but seems all our extra money goes to 'necessary' things in life. I have had laser done on my face for Roseca. Told my husband prior and he wasn't listening. Day I had it, he came home from work, took one look at my face and yelled "what the hell happened to you". My face was so red and swollen it was terrible. Think he'd learn to listen better, na. Face looked wonderful for about 3-4 months, wasn't going back again.

No, I wouldn't do it for age related reasons, only if I needed it due to being disfigured from an accident, surgery, etc. Even then I'd think long and hard about it, maybe not even then. Most celebrities I see who had face/eye lifts looked a lot better before the procedure IMO.

I'd like to have smaller boobs ...I lost almost 30 kg in weight about 9 years ago and not an inch off my boobs I'm still 18c girls you will understand that ...

I lost the weight because I was told I had diabetes ...I've since been told I don't have it anymore ...despite unintentionally gaining 5 kg of the lost weight back since

NO! I'm blessed however, that people have guessed my age from 49 to 55 and I'm 70 years old. I don't use water on my face most of the time. I use pre-moistened facial towelettes that clean very well and do not dry out the skin like the hard water in our area. And of course, being a woman of color doesn't hurt. :)
