Did you play hockey at school ?

Nope….I hated it……I always got bashed around the chins and ankles ouch !!
I preferred netball or rounders …..

Yes I did..as did my daughter..

I also played Netball and rounder... we had no choice it was part of the PE curriculum

Summer sport was tennis and swimming (lifesaving).

Our sports were year round.. so we played Hockey and netball all years.. but in summer we had Athletic ( track and field)

Only the girls PE class played hockey at my schools. And it was Grass Hockey. Played on the grass, where our precious, fragile young ladies would have soft landings and zero concussions, sprained ankles or broken ribs.

I played one year. We didn’t have a league, only what was called club hockey. We had 4 teams made up of kids in 9-12 grades. Although it was fun, I wasn’t a great skater, so I spent a lot of time getting back up.

I did while living in Florida. It was the most boring day. I had to hide around town so my family wouldn't see me. Then when the school bus arrived, I walked home like I just came from school. Never pulled that dumb stunt again.

Yup, played ice and floor hockey all the way through Grade 5... into high school... Was always a fun time...

I played for about 5 winters as a kid, but it was never something I loved to do. My son who lives in Australia and is in his 40's still plays.
