With all this new topics since I last was here, it's amazing the things that have happened I am overwhelmed with it all. Youtube is so full of depression these days. Change the subject, and I thought of this forum.

Maybe returning to Senior Forums will be a nice change for you. About the only time I look at youtube is if someone posts a song on one of the SF threads, or if I'm looking for a youtube video for help with a home project or technical issue.

Welcome! Lots of different sub-forums here. Not all of them light hearted, and if someone has a serious concern or has experienced an illness, injury or loss most responders to such posts are supportive and try to be helpful.

I do have to mention that as with any social media site and even YouTube-- you control what you get involved in. Actually especially on YT what you watch impacts what shows up in your feed. Also, what channels you subscribe can impact what you see. For that matter when going on to YT you could go direct to your list of subscriptions and avoid all the random, often unhappy news, in your 'home' feed.
