Disabled and retired but not really old. Can't get around and like new friends

Hey. I am from Missouri. I have lived very rural all my life, but can enjoy cities for a short time.
Where I live now has 1 blinking red light.

"Red dot on a map spot".....sorry that is from a country song.

I like to fish, travel, read, see my grandkids and kids. After 30 years I was divorced 4 years ago, suddenly.

I can go days without TV, but do like some sports and even comedy.

At some point I might like a few email friends.

Nice to meet you Ma'am, er....Mr. Just saw you are managing your settings, maybe you will give us more info? We moved to west-central Arizona from Missouri 3 years ago. If I think hard, I might recall a couple of towns with a single blinking red light: somewhere around Lake of the Ozarks, maybe? We were 55 miles S.E. of Rolla, near Bunker, pop. 394, NO red light.

Mr. And I am more in the SW corner. North of my old hometown and off the farm. But I am looking for nice email friends. Or just to post on the forum. Thanks.

Anyway, welcome to the forum from somewhere a bit south of you.
South to the south pole then swing north again past Tasmania.

Welcome Runnoft, from the central California mountains. Glad you've joined us, lots of really nice people on here. My little brother lives in Missouri, I think he stays for the fishing. :) He's near Noel. My best friend was born in Carthage Missouri. I've only been there once, and that was to Joplin. It's a pretty state.

You asked what thread we hang out on? People seem to be attracted to certain ones. I usually go to General --- shoot, I can't recall the second word now, maybe it's Discussions. I read on the current events but seldom post on there as I think some of the people get a little hot under the collar regarding politics. I never go on the games thread as I have no interest in that one at all. I like health, family relations, humor, entertainment. Almost all the others I look in on when I have the time. Between this forum, checking my emails and Facebook I don't have time to really spend as much time here as I would like. When my legs start getting numb I figure it's natures way of telling me to turn the computer off! :)
 
Welcome from rural Central Texas! Glad you are on board and looking forward to your posts. I've seen only a few posts since joining a couple days ago and I have noticed that some of the members live in rural areas. I know you will enjoy the diversity that the members have on the forums.
