I'am a pod detergent user in my washing machine -I find them clean simple than all the messy powders- that just clog up the works '
I live in hard water county in the UK. but it works a treat with pods ……..still add softner as well , so how many of us use these
clever designed bubbles ..in their machines .

Never tried it, but I do use pods in my dishwasher. I think I'll try them in my washing machine also, after reading your note.

yep I also live in what has been described as the hardest water area of the UK, so I understand toffee.. ... so I have used Pods for many years ..equally I don't use liquid softener, only ever use dryer sheets

On this list you'll see towns and counties with the hardest water in the UK...ours is described as Hard to very hard water..and on the map is the deepest shade of Pink..

hi hollydolly……….yes iam on the over 300 area on the map -and thanx -glad to see ladies going to try them ...

No,since I just wash for myself only , tend to do smaller loads . Nothing gets really dirty, I'm nit gardening or doing stuff like that. Always use the mildest liquid I can get, like the "free & clear" , or cold water delicate types of products.

No, never used them. I have a front-loading machine that regulates the water level depending on the size of the load. I always use liquid detergent, usually fragrance free and environmentally safe, not sure those pods would even dissolve in my washer.

Furry, they do look yummy! :p

Most of us in the UK have front loader washing machines SB... mine does the same as yours and regulates the water level depending on the size of the wash :D

It depends on the type of washing machine you have.

On the new front loaders I find that you don't get the rinse amount of water like the old top loaders so I use less detergent. I don't use pods.

Well think about it. How really dirty do your clothes get? They wear out more from washing than wearing.

Yes I’ve used them and I hate them. I have no idea why but when we used them we’d find pieces of the wrapping melted to our clothes and I have no idea why. Now I use liquid detergent but we do have pods for our dishwasher.

I use the pods for both my dishwasher and my washing machine. My daughter convinced me to start with the laundry detergent. My argument against was that it was more expensive to use the pods, but she said there was less waste and it was way more convenient, and I was probably using too much detergent in the first place. So I tried them, and I'll never go back. Clothes still get clean, less mess, and I know exactly how many loads I can do until I need to restock.

I no longer use fabric softener. I use white vinegar in the dispenser instead, or nothing at all. On the few occasions when I know I'll have static issues (with certain blankets, for example) I use a dryer sheet.

In our apt complex, our washing machines can only use h.e laundry detergent
I think if we used pods,it would cause damage to the machines
