Absolutely. When this thing first started getting "real" as we say, I replied to a thread saying that I think this virus' would impact us in ways we hadn't thought of yet. I can't see that those of us who wear masks will stop once this dies down. Many families have had to bury multiple family members because of this. No family should have to go through that living nightmare. Some places of business will never recover, thereby cutting the incomes of millions. Some were already in deep debt...now they'll never be able to crawl out from under it. People are losing their homes because of this. Where will they live? We have yet another new wave of homeless people who never dreamed they would be in this situation and the U.S. isn't prepared to deal with it. Hell, most places couldn't deal with the homelessness before CV-19 hit.
Schools will have to change the how and where our children are taught. Inner city schools are already overcrowded...how will authorities fix that? The quality of education for many will suffer (even worse than before). Parents who have no choice but to go to work will be worried every time they drop their children off at school or at the school bus stop. Yet if they left them home alone, they face child endangerment charges. Children may never be able to play with friends in the normal manner. It's a mess and I don't know what it will take to clean it up.
