Do you buy meds online without a prescription?

I have been buying blood pressure pills online without a prescription to skip the doctor wanting to do all kinds of testing which I find not necessary at my age. Some say offshore meds can be below standards and I wonder if any of you have experience with them...

Surely that isn't very wise, you should always have a doctors prescription for medication, imo. Besides which you have no idea what is in the medication you buy on-line.

That explains a lot.

Why would you place yourself in jeopardy with your health?
Why take them at all 'at your age' ?

I take them because I want to avoid a stroke, dropping dead would be fine. The Online meds seem to be OK as they are keeping my blood pressure in check. Don't need any orifices being explored or being referred any more to specialists, coasting now and my remaining days I want to enjoy without doctors until the last one...

How long have you been taking them?
Where do you order them from?
I can understand you not wanting to be poked and all.

I started taking them after a doctor I went to wanted to do more than just give me my pills. I found a doctor in a walk-in clinic who agreed that I just needed my regular meds but the place had closed when I went to see him the next time. So Online I went and have taken them for about a year from two different sources. They are expensive but save me a lot of aggravation...

It is your business of course, but in the end it is likely to cost you a lot more aggravation, or even your life!

If you feel they are all you need then that's your right.
Quality wise, sometimes the big pharmaceutical companies try to scare you because money loss.

Years ago when generic medication was coming into play because it was cheaper, people didn't trust them.the truth is they are the same product, made by the same company but under a different name.

I guess its a personal decision.

With your attitude why do you even go to a doctor? What's your objection to all kinds of testing? Are you afraid they will find something that you don't want to know about? AND What's your age got to do with it?

I don't go to doctors anymore. We have become customers rather than patients in many cases and there is money to made in those assembly lines of colonoscopies, for example. Something is going to get you after a certain age even if you can stop one disease or another...

I don't take any drugs, and the wife just takes a low dose of Lysinopril for her blood pressure....$7 a month at Walmart. However, I see many online ads for Canadian pharmacies, at a far better price than here, and many people seem to be going that route. One of our Son-in-Laws parents spend their Winters in South Texas, and they go across the border into Mexico and load up on their drugs...at a fraction of the costs here. They have been doing that for several years, and seem to be doing with the Mexican supplied drugs.

I keep preaching the same thing. And I practice what I preach.

I remember when we had a "Medical Profession". Now, they are finally telling us the truth by calling themselves the "Health Care Industry"...and the primary goal of Any Industry is to "Make Money". A sizable percentage of these Doctors receive generous perks and kickbacks from the drug companies...based upon the number of prescriptions written. Endless, and often needless, "tests" are performed because these tests bring in substantial profits. Our entire health care system is based more upon "treatment" than "prevention"...because Treatment is far more profitable.

I used to order meds without a prescription online, but about 4-5 years ago it seemed like "they" cracked down on all those sites that didn't require them. I assumed there weren't any reputable ones left, because I searched quite extensively at that time for another. Maybe I'll try again.

Don, nice description of what is going on, and, Nancy, try again there are many of them out there...

Dark Web *cough, cough*

Heck, you don't even need to go that far - the link I posted earlier in this thread was just from a Google on the regular Web.

Phil, I did check that site out. They didn't seem to have the thing I want, unless it's under another name. (Don't ask :)) I'll try again later. Also I'd like a place that someone has already had experience with, cause I'd like to use a credit card. BTW, they say never to pick a site that doesn't give a telephone number.
