I spent a lot of time in my Colorado inflatable fishing at a nearby lake, and tweaked it out a lot. I took an aluminum lawn chair frame, cut the legs off, and mounted it in the kayak, with a nice lawn chair cushion for comfort. Then I attached a clamp-on multi-position umbrella to the back of the lawn chair for shade.
On the back side of the lawn chair at tube height, I attached a 2x4 that stuck out one side to mount my small trolling motor on.
After a few adjustments, everything worked perfectly as I could sit up at tube level rather than down on the floor, the umbrella didn't get in the way of casting, and I could paddle when I wanted, or cruise with the trolling motor.
