Do You Have a Halloween Costume?

I just found my witch dress and hat. I've lost almost twenty pounds. I'm dressing up again...great fun, me as a witch, Callie a linebacker, and daughter a ninja. Plus best buddie's nephews, nieces, and grandkids. I love Halloween:love_heart:

Not yet. My usual costume burned up last year. I'm going to have to think about what I want as a new one. Congrats on the weight loss!

I used to have a JFK mask and my (late) wife had a full Marilyn Monroe costume - white dress, blonde wig. Wore them to a party a few years ago that was mostly younger folks. No one had any idea about the JFK/Marilyn linkage. Bummer.

No idea where they are now.

Might depend on kids...from 1984 and on I was back there again. It took a few years and my mother in law made costumes, Then four more kids between. From Spice Girls to Demons...Yup, makeup and candy...I'm happy.

Yup.. Still have a few of them from when we used to play Halloween parties.

Old suite (from the thrift store) plastic glass frames, hat, and a Superman T shirt.. ~ Clark Kent.

White baseball hat, stripped shirt, whistle around the neck, dark sunglasses, and a white cane.. ~ Blind Referee .

The Dollar Store had lots of Halloween decorations at a good price which we used to decorate the stage and our gear. Dang, had a lot of fun back then.. :)

The last time that I dressed up was as the wife of Clarence Thomas and my lady friend did Clarence! This was during his being considered for the Supreme Court and the whole Anita Hill affair...

I plan to go out on Halloween dressed as a ballerina......I've got the little pink tutu and tiara but I'm having one hell of a time finding ballet slippers in a size 14 D.

Oh, almost forgot.......I'm not having much luck finding 'tights' in my size either so I'm hoping it stays warm because my little frilly tutu is reeeealy short.

Ike, have you looked at yoga pants? They come in chubby sizes too.

Get white long johns and dye them pink. Wear pink Doc Martens, gives a punk ballerina vibe. Hawt.

What I have, or plan to have, is not really a costume per se, but more of a Halloween outfit which I plan to wear to a Halloween get together and possibly, if I go out on Halloween night and stroll around downtown.

It consists of a large, orange T-shirt that I plan to stencil a black Jack-o'-lantern face on the front of, a black plastic derby hat with Halloween stickers all over it and a pair of LED "pumpkin" glasses that turn on an off and can be set to blink slow, fast or just burn steady. Black pants and shoes.

I should look plenty ridiculous.

Hopefully anyway...

I have a blue work shirt that is stenciled "state prison". It looks pretty good with a pair of blue jeans. At a party one night when I was wearing it I had to run out for some paper cups. At the store check out I looked behind me and there was a cop. He never said a word.

Going to a house party on a houseboat. This year I am going as a belly dancer. Hope the central heating is on!

Knew there was something I liked about you Shalimar.

My wife was a semi professional "exotic dancer" in the days before it became a fashionable evening class.

It was her interpretation of Ravel's Bolero that convinced me there might be more to life than copious amounts of beer!

Hmm, pole dancers are always welcome at my door, and it doesn't have to be just for Halloween...

I have been toying with making myself up like Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter, but my hair is down to my waist right now, so it would require the purchase of a good wig that can be styled well & those are not cheap. I'm still thinking on it...

Don't mention pole dancers in the same context as belly dancers or exotic dancers!

Coarse, vulgar common creatures with no air of mystery and not much of a skill set or sense of rhythm!
