my mother would sit on the porch swing and read.I love to sit on the porch on nice afternoons reading. I get very annoyed when someone comes along and attempts to start a conversation with me.
I am very surprised by this thread at how many in the UK drink coffee. I always thought tea was the preferred drink. What happened to the tea - habit? Or is tea only important in the old movie era. UK, I thought I knew you.then get my cup of coffee made.
Agree. Sleep is a routine I hate getting interrupted in or if I can't get into it. I am surprised that so many others here apparently don't mind being interrupted in sleep since so few mention it.Sleep!
I hate it when its interrupted now that I'm retired.
Prior to retirement, I was on call 24/7/365.
Disasters happening all over the world, if a company I was working with was impacted, I was up, many times for 24/36 hours.
When money stops moving around the globe, following the sun, its all hands on deck!
I can't tell you how much happens that never, never makes the news outlets. Thank God!
Yes, straight through sleep is such an awesome thing.
You remind me of my pet Collie. He'd get very upset if I tried to pet him or play with him when he was eating his breakfast or dinner. Dogs are like that. They have their routines as well. And, don't like to be messed with at those times. Do you bite, too?But there are two things I will not compromise on, breakfast and dinner time.

I can relate to being on-call 24/7/365, I worked for either financial institutions or hospitals.Sleep!

Do you have a routine during any part of the day that you don't like to have interrupted?
