Do you have a unique talent?

Yes, I can play the spoons. I've never met anyone else who does, so it must be fairly rare. I don't consider this any great gift to the world though.
More popular perhaps, I make jewelry. It relaxes me a lot and this is desirable. I get a lot of compliments on my stuff because I wear everything I make. I don't take orders when people find out I make my stuff because that might take the fun out of it and I'd like to keep it a leisure activity at least for a while longer.
I do both of those things, too

What an interesting group of people!
Yes indeed! I am fascinated by these responses.

I've given it some thought, and I actually don't have an actual unique talent other than my original tongue-in-cheek response. I do know virtually every Who and Beatles song verbatim (the former only up until about 1982), but I'm not sure that's a talent per se. If it is, it's pretty useless except when I'm singing along in the car. (And Beatles songs always involve the conundrum: Sing along to lead vocals or backing vocals? )

But as far as an actual talent for doing something, I don't believe I have one.

I guess because I have done a lot of painting over the years I am pretty good at covering up flaws in my surroundings. I disappeared some burn marks in indoor/outdood carpeting with paint in the sunroom and I cam match paint colors to fix scuffs scratches.
I've used tea to disappear scratches in wood flooring. Works great and it's lasting.

I can do without
You got me to laugh out loud gruntlabor.
I saw your post to MoBeans. and thought...aww a nice one! Who's in grunts acct?
Then you came back with "I can do without" and I bust up laughing, thinking.. there it is, it's nice to see
some things you can rely on!
This is not a put down, I just thought how cute I was caught off guard like that. :ROFLMAO:

:) Thank you, Irish, your post #26, re the ability to listen, is a very VERY special talent, one I wish I had.

I'm just handy to have around.

I'm a fair carpenter, house painter
I can and have built my own house. (foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing, roofing)
I'm a journeyman diesel & heavy equipment mechanic.
I've built lot's of race cars from the ground up.
Likewise I've built a lot of hot rods.
I've converted a greyhound bus for boondocking.
I can still hold up my Harley. (730 lbs). :ROFLMAO:
Pretty good gardener.
I can fall tree's where I want them.

I got a little bit of chocolate icing on my light-blue sweatshirt. Any tips?
Put spot under some warm (not hot ) water then rub a bit of Palmolive dish washing soap on spot and gently brush it into the choc spot with an old toothbrush.
Rinse and repeat if not gone. If gone then put in washing machine for final wash.
A small tip....not a good idea to put an item with an untreated spot in washing machine w/o trying first to remove it. And then putting that item with an untreated spot from the washing machine into a dryer lessens your chances of ever getting spot out.
Hope this helps.

Only on my left hand, I can fold my little finger (pinky) at the first joint while all my other fingers are out flat.

With both hands I can do the Mr Spock "Live Long and Prosper" V sign and then open and close them like scissors, either alternately or together. I can also move just one finger out from all four being out flat together, and do it index finger on one hand and p;inky on the other.

One thing I cannot do, and have never been able to do, is the rolling RRRRRR sound that most people can do with their tongues.
