I'm going to have some cow in me when my wife gets home with our dinner from Carl's Jr.

How about 2 artificial knees, 2 hip replacements, both shoulders replaced, 3 dental bridges and 2 occular implants?Radrook's thread about teeth got me thinking. We're all 50-60+, so we've been bouncing around for a while. Do you have any nonhuman parts in your body?
I can't go through a metal detector without setting the damn thing off. I have steel nails, a metal plate in my back and bracing. Then there's artificial teeth, and eye lenses.
If this keeps up, in a few years, I'll be waving my arms and shouting, "Danger, Will Robinson, Danger".
It's amazing what doctors can do these days. Were your joint replacements due to arthritis? How about 2 artificial knees, 2 hip replacements, both shoulders replaced, 3 dental bridges and 2 occular implants?
Going through the metal detector is very entertaining. The scan at the side causes a lot of concern. It might be easier to strip off and show them the scars.
All osteoarthritis - bone on bone. It's amazing what doctors can do these days. Were your joint replacements due to arthritis?
My wife had both shoulders and both knees replaced. You've got her beat, though! I admire both of you. I'm not sure I could have handled all the pain and suffering my wife went through.
I completely forgot, I also have a clip from gallbladder removal.I have dental implants, bridges and a marker in my breast from a biopsy.
I Humpty Dumptied 140 foot down a mountain side..... Pelvis was in 7 pieces, hip and Femur in 3, other lower leg was so trashed I almost lost it. Some of the bone is still on the hill. 11 surgeries rods plates and screws galore.I have a titanium rod from shoulder to elbow... with 13 screws, when I did my Humpty Dumpty impression, had to be put back together again with an ORIF (open reduction, internal fixation) of my left humerus. thought I had set off metal detector at the Liberty Bell in Philly... nah... was my phone.
OMG! You poor thing. I visited Washington, DC, and you can't get in a building there without going through a metal detector. Like you, I thought about going around naked. Your right, it would have been a lot easier. How about 2 artificial knees, 2 hip replacements, both shoulders replaced, 3 dental bridges and 2 occular implants?

I also forgot the dental crowns, got a couple of those.Oh, I forgot about dental crowns and cataract lenses. Got those.
