My ashes will be placed in a plot I bought in 2007 in my church's memorial garden
your headstone is already in place ? does that make you comfortable ?Yes, I'll be buried next to my late husband in our family plot in a small isolated country cemetery, the head stone is in place.
that looks lovely..We bought niches for our urns already 30 years ago when the cemetery of the Dutch Reformed Crystal Cathedral opened (at $1K a piece, now $6K, eternal maintenance included.) Rev. Schuller was the only clergyman in my life whom I truly admired. Regrettably, he was not good in managing money and his ministry went bankrupt. When the Catholic Archdiocese in Orange County bought it and renamed the building Christ Cathedral, my Catholic wife rejoiced. Although most of the exterior was left unchanged, the inside was remodeled from a place of joy into prison, in my opinion. All right, as a Lutheran, I will live with my Catholic wife in a Catholic cemetery ever after. Here are a few pictures I took yesterday,

Ditto. I want my ashes to be either scattered in the same place as my pets and husbands or in a plot if we decide to pick one.Want my ashes combined with my husband's and cats.
Yes, the head stone (with both our names) was placed when late husband died, my death date to be added later.....comfortable?....I guess, just another 'arrangement' completed. I have not visited the funeral home thing (for actual funeral arrangements) yet, having a hard time doing that. I'll probably write my wishes down for the kids to carry out, I do know for sure I don't want a 'hell and damnation' preacher.your headstone is already in place ? does that make you comfortable ?
That’s what my mother and her husband did when he died. When she was in her later years I talked to and signed a contract for her funeral. Chose the coffin, etc. It took a lot of pressure off at the end. There were still many decisions.Yes, the head stone (with both our names) was placed when late husband died, my death date to be added later.....comfortable?....I guess, just another 'arrangement' completed. When I mentioned morbid subject I was referring to the idea of "death." It was not intended to be a complaint, just an observation.is that close to where you live Nathan?...if so, do you walk around there, do you know exactly where your plot will be..?
I don't find this a morbid subject I think so many of including me really haven't made plans.. and perhaps should...
