Do you like black jellybeans?

Really like licorice so I enjoy Black Jellybeans.
I discovered Ouzo on a trip to Crete and usually keep some in the freezer.
Still got a shirt of a local brand called 'Ouzo 12'.
What it says:

' Ouzo 12...Me 0 '.

Pretty much my score .;)
Ouzo is the best! Just don't drink too many shots of it or you will be falling all over the place.

I love black jelly beans. Easter is the only time I can eat licorice. I have to eat gluten free and all licorice contains wheat flour. A brand called Just Born sells gluten free black jelly beans. I usually stock pile them to last few months.
Do you remember Sen-Sens? A tiny black candy made of anis. But it was more an after dinner non-mint mint than a candy. Anyway, they are gluten-free, and still on the market but only on line (as far as I know). I used to eat those whenever my grandma had them on hand.

Hate black jelly beans & liquorice.

If I’m buying jelly beans in bulk, I move the scoop really really slowly so I don’t get many black ones. Any that I do get are given to DH.

Apparently chewing Sen-Sens was somewhat scandalous for a "nice" girl in the 1920's. I guess it implied that your breath had something to hide.....cigarettes or liquor.

Once in a book, I read a description of a girl who "was no better than she ought to be" (a common put-down back then). She "rolled her stocking beneath her knees and chewed Sen-Sens"....horrors!

Fast-forward to the 1960's and 1970's......incense burning in your room? What are you hiding, young man?

@Murrmurr,I love Sen-Sens. The original ones. I bought them a few years back and they were a knock- off. They were tasteless and had a washed out lavender flavor.
I wonder where the name came from?
