Do you now live in the place, where you were born?

No way...we live 1200+ miles south of where we were both born. The emphasis on that is "south"...lol.
There may be a man on the face of the earth that detests cold weather more than hub, but do not know where he is!

No. I was born in the Channel Island of Guernsey, but moved to the UK in 1969 at the age of 19 when I married my English husband.

I was born in a hospital about 25 miles SW of where I now live. I have never lived in that city but grew up about 10 miles from there. I have preferred to live in my present area for the past 20 years. Ultimately I'd prefer a warmer area though.

I was born and raised on the same street in the City. About 3 yrs ago me and my Husband moved to a suburban area to be closer to my daughter and her family. I'm still trying to make the adjustment after all my years living in the City.

No, I was born back in the mountains of southeastern KY close to Chenoa, KY (where my Mom grew up). Was born at home with the aid of an old country doctor. We moved to Ohio (where my Dad is from) before I was a year old, and I grew up there. Left for a job in my mid 30s and didn't return until I retired, but am back in Ohio now.

I doubt many people nowadays live in their family home and even fewer were born there. I was born at home but in Italy. I left when 7 to a different country and then to the US and have lived in four states and uncounted addresses. People are a lot more mobile now. I get the itch to move just about every five years, but want to stay here until the end.

Some say I arrived on Earth is a silver capsule from a small planet in the vicinity of Ursa Minor. Others think that I'm descended from an illegitimate son of Noggin, king of the Nogs.
The truth is much stranger - and now I don't live anywhere near where I was found in the lost and found office at St.Enochs station.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I live in the same home that I was born in, back in 1933. It was built in 1921 by my grandfather and has never been out of the family. We gave this home to our youngest daughter and family, back in 1995 and retained a life lease for ourselves.

In our case, it couldn't have been a better decision. Because we gave them the home, they took over all costs, electric, heat, taxes, upkeep, etc.. Hopefully it will stay in the family with their children as there's room for two or three more homes if the property is sub-divided.

It's comforting as we've aged, to have someone nearby when health problems arise. My wife fell a couple of weeks ago and a call to her doctor resulted in a recommended trip to the Urgent Care center. Our daughter accompanied her and stayed from 7 PM 'til 2 in the AM for various tests, etc.. As I don't drive at night , it was a blessing and I didn't have to call emergency services or one of our neighbors.
