Do you shop Brick and Mortar stores on Black Friday?

Is Black Friday a go to shopping day for you? What about Small Business Saturday?
I went and stood in a line ONCE on Black Friday..to get a drill set my husband wanted. Never before or since. I do always try to go out and patronise a small business on Saturday, though.

I don't leave the house on either day. Online shopping only on those days. I am almost through anyway!

I do pretty much all my shopping online. Not like I do a lot of shopping. Just a couple people.

I’ve never heard the term Small Business Saturday. I do try to frequent local businesses, there’s just nothing to shop for.

No way. And especially not this year when inflation is up and financial analysts are advising not to buy anything that is non-essential.

My thought is that prices seem to go up in the pre-Christmas season. They seem to go down around February. So ...

This year will be a first for me.

I want to go to a locally owned clothing store that is having a very rare 25% off sale.

I doubt that it will be mobbed, but if it is it will be a bunch of old folks like me.

In the "olden days" when it was first a thing, I did because it was fun. After maybe the first two or three times, I gave it up because it turned into a mob scene. Now? Not a chance. It's not worth it.

I was never one to patronize stores for Black Friday sales. I would rather pay more for an item to avoid the stress of dealing with hopped-up, aggressive mobs…

My wife claims I would rather go to the dentist than go shopping. And she is right. I go to a local LL Bean store about once a year and to a local men's clothing store about twice a year. Everything else I buy on line.
