Do You Soak Your Nuts?

I received the book 'Nourishing Traditions' for Christmas.
It's all about how to prepare nutrient dense food like they did generations ago.
The premise is that we are not preparing our food properly causing gut health problems and not getting all the rich nutrients from them.
I soaked some almonds overnight then dehydrated them. They are crispy and good and should be more digestible and more nutritious.
I've been experimenting with sourdough and fermentation and hope to get better at it by using this book.
So, do you soak your nuts?

Really like my almonds too. I buy a 25 lb box then make it all into almond butter. Great on apples & Nut Thins!

This is an interesting topic, leaving aside the wisecracks from wise guys.

Our body can better absorb nutrients if you soak nuts and seeds. Nutrient-dense nuts and seeds include nutrient inhibitors that guard and guarantee the survival of those nutrients. By soaking nuts and seeds, you can reduce or get rid of the harmful and nutritious inhibitors that are absorbed into the water.

Soaking raw nuts overnight would start the sprouting process, which would probably make them more nutritious. Why not spend the 2 or 3 days to actually sprout them?
Yes, I plan to do that. This was my test batch on some nuts that were getting stale. I will probably sprout beans before cooking also.
I will post a link soon on why they are more nutritious this way.
It has to do with the enzymes and soaking "unlocking" the nutrients.

None of my google searches have lead to mainstream sources for this. Does anyone have a link for scientifically based reports about the accuracy of the theory of soaking walnuts. I can appreciate getting rid of that sometimes bitter aftertaste.

I am going to try walnuts. You could try it on a small batch and see how you like them.
I've eaten soaked nuts and they're ok, different, but I really liked them soaked and dehydrated.
I googled mainstream sources on soaking nuts and got a few. It's not really a mainstream thing but you can find plenty of articles like this:
