Do you start answering a question here then decide, no, let this one go?

I often start, then think of the ramifications, ie, do I really want to engage in what may ensue?
Happened just now. Started, thought, desisted answering
More & more often. Sometimes I wonder why I’m answering. Is it to satisfy my who? Is it to feel connected? Is it to feel wanted/ needed?
The. I spend time pondering the question instead of wondering.

@Macfan - good to see you, or have I just been on the wrong threads?

In regards to the original question, often times I will refrain from putting my two cents in when I find it is one of the common circular discussions where folks huff and puff, but never blow down the opponent's arguments. I grow tried of debating the same thing over and over again. Can't we be more creative?

BTW Fords are better than Chevys.
