Do You Still Have Goals and Aspirations?

Sure! I would like to watch all 22 seasons of Gunsmoke, my favourite western. I am watching the 2nd half of the 6th year so I'm not sure that I will make this goal. Then I would like to go to Yellowstone National Park; maybe next summer. I believe in KISS: keep it simple, stupid!

Honestly I no longer have goals and aspirations as during my youth my 20s 30s 40s and 50s I worked very hard and constantly had goals and aspirations which I achieved by the grace of God. I now liken my life to having climbed Mount Everest and I have now reached the summit. I’m now enjoying the view.

I don't have anymore goals....Not at our age....We had a goal a few years ago and we
decided to get our little cottage in another State....We keep our home and go back and forth to our
2 homes....Our 2 children both have beautiful homes with children.. We are very proud of our kids....
Pretty good for a couple that had nothing when we married at 20 years old....
Be well, Friends....♥

Yes, I started writing a book. Yes, a book. Even if it starts out small, I have printed it out and edited it, where I want some things to go. I have a few short (3 paragraph) chapters in it and am just wanting to see if I can write a small book. Even if it is just a small one. Who knows.
Best of blessings with your book Fancicoffe13! My honorary granddaughter had her first book published this year. I compose and produce music but I'm always in awe of people who can put together a book!

I love all of your goals and aspirations! Some are funny, some I can so relate to and some are awesome. Best of blessings (or good luck if you prefer) with achieving them.

My short term goal is to retire. Either in 2020 or in 2021. I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Also, I want to start playing the accordion again. I took it out a couple of days ago. It's been sitting so long some of the reeds are broken, I think. They vibrate and some of the keys are flat. Have to take it to get fixed.

I think it's important to have goals and aspirations in retirement. It makes the transition easier and the retirement more meaningful. Traveling is one of mine.

Well, I printed off the start of it, edited it already. And am coming up with another topic for the other chapters. My chapters are short short. And I will probably lengthen them for sure.

Enjoy New Years eve in the USA and bring in the new year as being officially retired on 1-Jan-20.

We depart Lagos, Nigeria on 30-Dec-19 for what is intended to be our last transatlantic flight ever and arrive to Texas latter morning of 31-Dec-19.

I am looking forward to being devoted full time to chasing ms gamboolgal around our old 4 poster buck neckid in Texas....

I am living my goals, aspirations.. To have PEACE, LOVE, JOY and HAPPINESS in my life. I am so grateful for all I have. Although I had a HUGE set back with my sister tragically passing away, I can say, I am moving forward and I continue to count my blessings each and every day. However; one of my aspirations is to help others that are going through Grief. Grief should be taught in middle and high school. We all are inclined to face it at one point in our life. It's in a class all by itself.

No, all my goals and aspirations have been met and fulfilled.
Now I hope others in the family can keep on keeping on way
beyond my years.

Hello! Aspirations must be constant. Sometimes you feel a little apathy. But you can rest, lie and do nothing for 2 days. Then you need to start moving. I draw pictures. I plan to take courses in philosophy and psychology.

I'm going to add on a bedroom and bathroom to the house. As before, me and the wife will do all the work. (foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing, etc) Probably going to take me a little longer than when we first built this house. (15 years ago) 🙂 but, we'll get it done.
