I
I do like to have a few things to look forward to and always feel better when I have a plan, even if I don't follow it.
When we were younger most of us set goals in regard to education, careers, family, etc. Now, it seems that they become rather mundane, like shedding a few pounds...
I never did set long term goals for myself, still don't. Not sure why.Just seem to take things day by day. Probably not a good thing. But there was always someone to come along and push me in the right direction. I've been very lucky in the friends I've had, I think.
Lifetime of being goal oriented didn't change in retirement, just set different goals once a goal is achieved. I guess it's natural to challenge oneself. I do think the older you get the easier the goals get to set and achieve.
I know what you mean!!Tell that to the 20 pounds I'm trying to lose! :yeahright:
