Do you still use an ironing board?

I use the big board for curtains and large items. My son pays me sometimes to iron a dress shirt. I also use a tabletop one for the GDs folded cuff shorts or dresses made of cotton. I just used it to make a pillow cover. I'd never totally quit ironing. I hate seeing people all wrinkly because they won't fold right out of the dryer. I use a steamer for knits if needed.

I have two. One floor model and one tabletop. I got tired of lugging the old floor model out and purchased a tabletop. I like it much better but I only use it when nothing else works to keep the wrinkles out and that isn't very often.

Still have an ironing board, use it only when I need to press the crease back into my slacks.
Always take clothes out of dryer immediately and hang on hangers. Saves ironing.
Wish I could say that ironing was relaxing, I find it boring.

Any job that when I am finished has accomplished something is very comforting and relaxing.

Cutting the grass was one of my favorite chores. I just loved how the lawn looked after a fresh makeup.

Like others have mentioned I still have the iron but the ironing board is long gone.

I put a clean towel on the kitchen counter.

Years ago I had an old wooden ironing board, similar to the one pictured, in my kitchen to use for extra counter space, a server, portable bar, etc... Sometimes I wish that I still had it.

Got rid of the ironing board, did keep the iron as I occasionally - VERY occasionally - do mending on my sewing machine and sometimes it's useful to iron a seam down. I think it's been maybe 6 yrs or more since I last used my iron, though!

I only use one when I'm sewing or repairing clothes. Most clothes the wrinkles hang out of them. To me it's "make work." I'd rather do something creative.

Clothes are removed directly from the dryer & hung or folded. Any that need ironing stay on the clothes rack until I have the ambition to iron them. Fortunately I have too many clothes so no need for ambition.

Once upon a time in a faraway place, I had to use a sad iron.

You can give yourself permission not to iron them at all. We are big kids now. We can do that.

I've used them for bookends and doorstops but I can't imagine using them to actually iron clothes.

OMG I was remembering when I was first married in the early 70's I would iron EVERYTHING
Towels, tea-towels, underwear and even socks....talk about a glutton for punishment
Having 2 children put paid to how much ironing I accomplished by how many hours are in one day
I know all about it, as I often wonder to myself how I managed to accomplish so many things in a day! :)
