Yes, I think insecure men cling to their Mothers.

I can't think of why I would want to marry someone who reminded me of my mother, not that I had any issues with my mother or not.

Similarly, I can't think of why I would want to marry someone who reminded me of anyone else. For me, that would take something away from the woman I marry. I don't need to make comparisons of the women that have been in my life either. It would be too much of an unnecessary distraction in a relationship.

What I am certain about is men do want to be looked after, they choose to marry a woman who can cook and take care of them as mother did. If it doesn't work out, they often run back to mummy! Lol!

If you knew my mom and my ex-sister-in-law, there are striking similarities. My older brother thought the same thing. My younger brother moved out of his boyhood bedroom into marriage at 18.

I have discovered, after 32 years of marriage, that I married my mother-in-law.
