21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

But this will be after this old earth will be destroyed.

Jude 7

7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire....

No. Take a look at history. Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot. Then go back a bit in time and you have Genghis Khan and the like. And look what the Romans and other ancient peoples did. Kill, steal, destroy. It is human nature. Fallen man. Many will do nice things for others and live "good lives" but deep down, there is always that potential.
As it is said in Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?"

But in Ezekiel 36:26 it states " I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." This is the prophetic promise of redemption through Jesus Christ.

Yes. It depends on the cultures. The Amish people have lived in harmony for a long time, and so have other religious groups. There was a study done once on gorillas out in the wilderness. The group of gorillas had some dominant males that were terrible and would commit violent acts. One day, those males sifted through a garbage pile and ate the spoiled food, and ended up dying. The remaining gorillas that lived ended up living peaceably after that. Don't know if that relates to humans or not, but something to think about.
 
Eventually, when food is manufactured in labs and work is done by robots, and everyone has a place to live along with pleasure generating devices, there will be no more jealousy or competition for resources and people will be able to live in harmony. Those days are probably 100 years in the future, but they will come.
