Do you think this woman deserved what she got?

Yes ... I have a hard time understanding what makes people fight/argue with the police and anyone in authority. .. It's getting so common and makes zero sense!
Always do as they say, and after the fact, go and take care of the matter if you feel you've been wronged.
 

We just saw that episode last night, and yes I do believe she deserved everything she got. I don't know who she thought she was someone special I guess.And then they wonder why kids are the way they are today.In my estimation she wasn't teaching a very good example.
 
99.9% of the time when a person gets confrontational with the police, they have no one but themselves to blame. Every year, dozens of officers are killed or injured by criminals or offenders, and the vast majority of those deaths/injuries could be avoided if the person simply acted in a civil manner with the police. With such a history of violence against the police, it is understandable why they sometimes appear to overreact.
 
I agree too. Her conduct was unacceptable and the police officer was reasonable....though bringing his pistol to bear may have been unnecessary.

But claiming had she been black she would have been shot is inflammatory speculation. In my opinion.

Yep. I bet if she has offspring, some have been in trouble with the law.
 
She had a big mouth for sure, it annoyed me just watching it. I don't understand why he had to tase her though, can't a police officer control an old lady enough to get cuffs on her? But with the way she was defiant and mouthing off, she risked him handling the situation in the way he thought best at the time. So yes, she deserved what she got. Amazing that even at the end she didn't mellow out, what a piece of work!
 
I agree with everybody who said she brought it on herself and deserved it. IMHO anyone who takes on cops in that manner is just asking to be tased or worse. And what's the point of all that? Did she think the officer was going to just let her go because she was obnoxious? You're not going to get away, and you're only heaping more criminal charges on yourself. It's just stupid.
 
IMO they both could use some training but the bottom line is the officer was right and the woman was wrong.

You don't fight a traffic ticket in the street you fight it in court.

never saw this -- in USA I suppose ' but all I can say is she must have been way out of control 's I think uk police would have just handcuffed her and threw her in the van …………..
 
I agree with all posted, and this applies to all that choose to fight with the police.
