Do you use your freezer

What about marking the ice cube tray (plant food) and freeze the feed for hanging baskets, it melts nice and slow in the heat and the plant gets all the benefits of the feed and no waste via dripping liquid?

But do make sure you mark the ice cube tray no for human consumption
 

I have a small freezer in the garage that has leftovers, pizzas, extra meat also I have peach trees and black berries and if I can not give them all away, I'll freeze some of them, hate to see them wasted.

Like you i hate waste and having four dogs (all rescued from the SPA and everyone of them had a really bad time in their lives) any and all food is welcomed by both the dogs the wild birds and us,
around july time the wild birds around here have a whale of a time with the free berries, the farme's ploughed fields and acces to the mice etc
Its one big party for them you can hear the birds singing away late into the night (most are drunk thanks to the berries) So what we dont pick off our trees the birds just help them selves.

Im no better as i ride past the fruit tree's im picking the odd plum so the gardens good to all of us.:)
