Do You Usually Listen To Music With Or Without Headphones/Earbuds?

Although I much prefer listening with earbuds (headphones now seem to bulky), I usually listen either with my studio monitor speakers hooked up to the computer or my T.V. when I'm in the living area and my JBL clip while I'm in the kitchen. The clip isn't true stereo though because it's not big enough for there's to be separation but the sound is still pretty good. Now that my son is here, he has set up a speaker box in the bedroom. If I'm working in there I can listen to the playlist on my phone using bluetooth. Sometimes I treat myself to the earbud experience when it's time to take it down a notch and relax.

One can hear things while using earbuds or headphones that may not be evident otherwise, unless someone has top of the line audio equipment. It's truly like the music is in your head. Here's the clip. This looks just like the one my husband bought me because he knew I love orange.

I have great luck with the Apple air Pods. The sound quality is wonderful and they are very comfortable. I initially thought that they might fall out, but they stay in quite well.

I listen to music with these headphones at night. They are great.

Audio-Technica ATH-M50X Professional Studio Monitor Headphones, Black, Professional Grade, Critically Acclaimed, with Detachable Cable

I listen in my car during the day. I don't care about traffic delays.
Several years ago I paid a good amount for what were supposed to be very good studio headphones to use when mixing. I may have used them a few times. My son went to use them last year and no sound came out of one side. I was not a happy camper and I decided not to buy another set. Looks like a good deal on Amazon, especially for anyone who goes for the $50 off when approved for the Amazon Rewards card.

@Pecos My grandson and I were just discussing the air pods Tuesday. He took me to Costco where they were displayed. I remarked on the price and how I wouldn't spring for them because I could see myself losing one or both especially when taking a trip of a few hours or more and falling asleep. He told me they are designed so they will not fall out of (my) ears. He obviously wants a pair but can't get them right now because he's no longer working.

Don't care for earbuds, and headphones get in my way as I'm putting ear protection and face shields off, and on during the day in the shop. Have good sound systems in the house, and shop, and it's hard to dance with headphones on.

I wear earbuds when listening to music from my computer, my car and phone sync to spotify, my hearing aids have bluetooth, so I can sync to phone, I have been shopping for earphones to wear while mowing that will cancel noise from mower.

I usually listen to music without headphones of any kind so my bird and dog can relax to it too. I live in an apt. so I have to keep it lower than I'd like. Once in awhile I will use my headphones with my stereo but I'm afraid it's making me lose my hearing more. I love to turn it up.

Since I got my new hearing aids, I use them every day to listen to my music.
Connect them from a Bluetooth source, like my phone, I select 'Music' on my hearing aid app and I'm set.
No need for a separate unit like my old aids.
I compared them to my son's AirPodPro earbuds and they sound just as good.
Knowing the retail price of the hearing aids, ( Phonak Virto M90 ITC ) they should.
( these supplied by the VA at no cost )

I'll only use my over-the-ear headphones on rare, special occasions anymore.

Am not an adult that has been constantly listening to music. At home I much prefer quiet for thinking. Although for decades have had hi-fi stereo equipment and home speakers, many years ago realized the loud sounds were inappropriate for the kind of dense residences I lived in. One of only two places I listen to music is sometimes in my Forester driving that is likely FM radio or exercising. In this era for years have been using these Symphony brand wood earbuds at $20>$30 when urban street sidewalk hiking during the pandemic.

I use earbuds or occasionally headphones. The thoughtful people who blare music out of their cars passing my residence are always glad to share their music, though. I use the term “music” loosely…😫

Living alone there is no need to have headphones or these earbud things. I listen to music through speakers.
