Do You Wake Up Hungry In The Morning?

Here lately I have been waking up hungry every morning. Usually I have to be up for a couple of hours.

Usually never. Only sometimes if I eat right before I go to bed. In my experience, there is a cycle of so many hours, not sure how many, probably varies for each person, when your stomach will start growling after you last ate. Growling is not really hunger, though. Have you changed your daily eating times?

I am usually hungry but I have coffee first and play on the computer. Usually have breakfast around 7 a.m. and listen to GMA for a bit. Then its time to shower and get dressed.

I'm rarely hungry but have early AM meds. that cannot be taken on empty stomach. I would enjoy meals more if I could do just brunch and early-bird dinner but med. regimen won't allow it.

I am not hungry when I first get up but after I'm up about a half hour I do prepare and eat a light breakfast.
I usually wake and get up around 6 am, sometimes earlier
At noon I have vegetables, fish or chicken and a dessert, like apple crisp or some kind of fruit.
My evening meal is light around 5 or 6 pm.

No I'm usually not hungry when I get up, and rarely eat a real breakfast. When I was working I'd eat a banana after my coffee just to have something in my stomach, now I either have a warmed croissant roll plain or one of these tiny 'biscuits'.

I'm hungry when I wake up ...but it's usually an hour after getting up before I eat ..We eat our evening meal at 5 pm so I guess it's a long time from 5 pm to 7 am to not have anything to eat...
Id be interested in what members eat for breakfast ,but don't want to start a thread in case it's been asked before
I eat a jar of my own homemade low fat yoghurt ,with a little fresh or stewed fruit ,flaked almonds and chia seeds and half a slice of toast with a coffee

Those Aussie bites look great for a breakfast starter and cofee. Too bad they don't export them to Canada. Notice the canola oil. That's from Canada. It's made from the rapeseed plant and they used to call it rapeseed oil. That's why they changed the name. It's a great cooking oil. It's all I use now.

I was visiting Europe in 2013, in the region of the famed Austro-Hungarian Empire, where my paternal grandfather was born in 1877.

For some strange reason, I went to bed in a border town in Austria, and WOKE UP IN HUNGARY!..........(Get it?)

Nope. Never wake up hungry. I'm a diabetic on insulin, and I don't have any diabetic symptoms from going without food for so long??? But just before I go to bed, I get so hungry, with a CAPITAL "H". I could shove food in me as fast as I could, and it wouldn't take away that hungry feeling. Why? I dunno.

Looks like I am the only one who needs something to eat soon after I wake. I start with some water, then juice. Next I have a couple of BelVita breakfast biscuits, then a little while later, yogurt with a sliced banana. Over the years I have found, and still finding, what works for my body.

I hardly ever wake up hungry. But we do eat later in the evening than most...around 7:00 or 7:30. I like a couple cups of coffee first and then maybe a granola bar or a left over bacon/biscuit from the fridge (we have breakfast for dinner atleast one night a week). Never have been a cereal eater.

I almost never wake up hungry. When I'm working in the office I usually get into the shower around 5:20 and after showering, getting ready, walking the dogs and driving to work I'll end up eating around 8 AM. Sometimes I eat later.

Here at home and not going into work I get up later, sometimes shower, sometimes don't, still walk the dogs and then eat around 8 or 8:30.

Sometimes on the weekends I don't really feel hungry until 9 or 10.
