Twitter Employees Are Freaking About Elon Musk

Though tensions are high, employees’ opinions on the billionaire appear split. As The New York Times previously reported, an informal poll of roughly 200 employees on Blind found that 27 percent hated Musk, 27 percent loved him, and 44 percent were neutral.

Blind is an anonymous social feed.
As seen by this and see the one person "Can't wait until he lays half off" shows they talk bit do not act on it .....why not STICK to to your beliefs and Quit .... because you want to collect unemployment perhaps....?

If 27% hate Musk ....DO THEY KNOW him personally ? or reacting on emotion based on other people opinions and media spin ?
Will they give up their cushy jobs ....nope........ and if all their fears and what ifs are not realized will they become supporters ?

I see this more and more people spouting off but still shopping places they claim to hate..... using social media they talk about as bad....eating places they made a rant about ............
I do not understand why they do not see spouting off on anonymous social media....... while staying at a job working for a man they called insane etc makes them HYPOCRITES ..........

all good answers..... I just see more and more people talk up a storm but then say or do something that shows they are wishy washy

Yes i knew many on here walk the walk ....
Most of those who don't expose themselves just like the twitter employees did...
wonder if any of their "friends" will point out the obvious........ ask them to walk the walk not just babble

I don't do these things, but I don't spout or rant much and never worked for an insane person...

I don't know enough about Musk or Twitter to have much opinion on that whole thing. Not sure why I should care.

You tell me

I used to book a blues band. Was the bouncer for my own shows. From my experience in life, pretty much everyone has the capacity to be tough, and very tough inside them. I have never found any real happiness in lording some kind of power over people. I mean, if you have to, you have to. And sometimes, you have to. I've broken up fights. In my day job, I had to confront a neo-Nazi group and a Southern White Supremacist group (not Klan, but similar). I did it. It was scary, but I did it. Again, nothing about doing that ever made me feel good.

Sitting in a diner and make goofy faces at the 3 year old across the room...and making the little kid smile...I've gotten happiness from that.

My Dad served in WWII. Army Corp of Engineers. Those guys went in before the Marines. Had to carry a 125 pound engineering backpack. My Dad was always, always, always pushing me to be tough. and, you know, he was right. Life will push you, no matter what. Being tough is necessary. And, you know I guess his lessons paid off and all. But, again, never got any real happiness from that.

My Dad was also law and order. Let me know clearly that if is ever did criminal stuff, he would be completely disgusted with me. Also very important lesson.

I think people who own Tesla stock love Musk. I don't know anything about him except that I had a coworker who admired him (coworker owned Tesla stock and likes all things new and futuristic). But working for someone is a different thing altogether, analogous to Steve Jobs and Apple maybe?
Also a company's product or service can be a different experience than the person, I can't stand Windows anymore but I greatly admire Bill Gates philanthropies.

I walk the walk. The fact that liberals hair is on fire over Musk tells me all I need to know.
When i wrote this post was thinking the bigger concept.............. then Twitter ... i do not tweet nor have an account ..... Musk came out and said something similar that the reaction shows exactly what he was talking about all along...

I am talking about the people ...thought this was an example of people losing their minds and spreading their thoughts (anonymously) ...........but not having the Conviction to follow it through...quit or say it without hiding in anonymous land.

I worked with a person who was fired from a job unjustly IMO .... the management was very slimy .....
I vowed to not frequent that business again and have NOT ......... meanwhile the woman fired still shops there ... because it is on her usual route home.
I asked her how she could continue supporting the very people who screwed her over?
i decided if being easy to get to was worth more to her then not spending her money there ... that was her decision but ..... if i was in her shoes they would have never gotten another dime from me.
That is what i mean by walk then walk .....
Lady yesterday told me she was on a sodium restricted diet but in same sentence said she had dinner at PF Changs.... one of the most loaded sodium foods ever......
I have little respect for those whom openly expose themselves as just TALK.

General clue...rich people do not care about you. They do not care about me. They do not care about politics. They do not care about their country. They pretty much only care about themselves. Exceptions to the rule...but the rule does carry the day most times. I found some info on Musk. Nothing truly evil or anything, but, you know, typical aggressive, selfish businessman stuff...let me see if I can find some of that.

Again had ZERO to do with him .... but the STAFF who spouted off to anyone to act like they should be running things....

who resort to badmouthing items anonymously and not really following their own rhetoric... If they believe those things pack up your desk and quit ... show us with your feet .....

Ever work and had a management/ ownership change ....
i let the person or company fail or succeed without badmouthing based on rumor and ideology ....

On Elon Musk (and these took less than 5 minutes to find)

Tesla factory workers reveal pain, injury and stress: 'Everything feels like the future but us'

“Ambulances have been called more than 100 times since 2014 for workers experiencing fainting spells, dizziness, seizures, abnormal breathing and chest pains, according to incident reports obtained by the Guardian. Hundreds more were called for injuries and other medical issues.”

Elon Musk Accused Of Pushing, Verbally Abusing Senior Tesla Employee

While Elon Musk's history of outbursts and "rage firings" are well documented, the incident is a rare glimpse into how the board has been forced to grapple with his behavior.

Zuckerberg owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post.
Elon Musk owns Twitter.

And don’t forget Rupert Murdoch…

When multi-billionaires take control of our most vital platforms for communication, it’s not a win for free speech. It’s a win for oligarchy.

When billionaires like Elon Musk justify their motives by using “freedom,” beware. What they actually seek is freedom from accountability.

When billionaires talk about freedom, watch your wallets

Behind Elon Musk's blather about free markets, free speech, and free choice is his goal to be free from accountability

oh, and I saved the best for last...

Yup, Tesla paid ZERO in taxes! ZERO! Yeah, sure, this guy cares about the country? Won't even pay his fair share of taxes...or ANY TAXES!!!

Tesla reported $5.5 billion in profit last year. It depends on federally funded roads, bridges and freeways for its electric vehicles. Yet the company pays $0 in federal taxes.

perhaps you would like to start a MUSK thread that was noT what i was talking about

you seem to be suggesting that the only resistance to Musk is based on some emotional, feeling, rather than the long history of negative behavior and actions suggested by these articles...and they took me seconds to look up, maybe 5 minutes for all of them.

People don't like the guy because he has done some abusive things...

Maybe people don't like him because he slept with Amber Heard, Johnny Depp's wife. But I would guess that the employees of Twitter don't care about that. I think they are afraid he is going to be a horrible and abusive boss and cost a lot of them their jobs.

I am NOT suggesting that ....... you read or assume a lot about what people are talking about IMO
was showing a current in real time example of people ranting but with out backbone to quit or at least not hide in anonymous land
